About Me
I'm Thilo, and I have been a lecturer at the Department for Economics and Related Studies since 2018.
Before, I received a B.Sc. in Business Computing from the Universität Paderborn, an M.Sc. in Information Systems from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a PhD in economics with my advisor Nikolaus Wolf at Humboldt.
My main research focuses on long-run growth, especially market integration and institutions, and its geographic determinants. My academic background provides me with a solid range of empirical methods, especially concerning very large datasets, calculation-intensive modeling, and geographic information.
